EDAIC 2026: Dates, Deadlines, Fees and What Candidates Need to Do Now
Published May 2026. Dates and fees are for the 2026 cycle — check ESAIC for current information.
The 2026 EDAIC calendar is confirmed. Part I has one date. Part II has multiple windows — but registration for every 2026 session is now closed.
Here is what ESAIC’s official registration pages show, organised so you can act on it.
EDAIC Part I: 19 September 2026
The Part I — two written papers, 120 MTF question stems, no negative marking — runs annually in mid-September. The 2026 sitting is Saturday 19 September 2026.
It is held simultaneously at accredited examination centres worldwide. This is not an online-from-home exam; every candidate must attend a registered centre. ESAIC lists over 80 centres globally, so finding one nearby is rarely the problem. Meeting the registration deadline is.
Registration deadline: 11 June 2026 at 23:59 CET.
That is the hard cutoff. Late applications are not accepted. Miss it, and you wait until September 2027.
Part I Fees for 2026
Fees vary by candidate tier and ESAIC membership status. The 2026 structure:
| Candidate category | 2026 fee |
|---|---|
| Mandatory-country candidates | €180 |
| European middle-income countries — ESAIC member | €290 |
| European middle-income countries — non-member | €360 |
| Other countries — ESAIC member | €380 |
| Other countries — non-member | €450 |
The member/non-member gap for candidates outside mandatory and middle-income tiers is €70. ESAIC individual membership fees are worth checking against this figure before you register — the maths may favour joining first.
For a full breakdown of the five Part I syllabus domains and how to use them as a revision checklist, see our EDAIC Part I Syllabus post. If you want your preparation structured around those five domains rather than a pile of random questions, ThioSuxa EDAIC is built exactly for that.
EDAIC Part II: The 2026 Picture
The Part II is an oral examination — four Structured Oral Examinations (SOEs) in a single day, tested by eight examiners across morning and afternoon sessions. Unlike Part I, it runs at multiple venues between February and December.
In 2026, most Part II examinations are online. Seven centres run face-to-face sessions:
| Centre | Dates |
|---|---|
| Ankara | 11–12 April 2026 |
| Porto | 17–18 April 2026 |
| Uppsala | 19–20 May 2026 |
| Frankfurt | 27–28 June 2026 |
| Erlangen | 25–26 September 2026 |
| Istanbul | 3–4 October 2026 |
| Cairo | 31 October–1 November 2026 |
Online sessions run throughout 2026 in multiple languages — English, French, German, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Spanish, and Turkish. Seats per language session are limited.
Part II registration for 2026 closed on 2 February 2026. All sessions are now full.
If you missed the 2026 window, you are planning for 2027. The Part II runs annually with similar session structures. Watch the ESAIC Part II page from late 2026 — registration for early 2027 sessions will open several months in advance. For the full picture on the online format, equipment requirements, and exam-day regulations, see our EDAIC Part II Online post.

What Candidates Sitting Part I in September Need to Do
One date. One chance.
Register before 11 June. Confirm your centre. Then use the window between registration and September to work through the five Part I knowledge domains systematically. Both Paper A and Paper B must be passed individually. Covering one domain lightly — physics and statistics are the usual casualties — is a reliable route to a borderline fail.
